The 2024 Summer Olympics are officially over.
This year’s games provided a lot of excitement, and many fans are sad that the festivities have already concluded.
While that is the case, people are already starting to talk about the 2028 Olympics, which are slated to be held in Los Angeles, California.
There are a lot of reasons to be excited about the Olympics being back in the United States, especially the fact that they are in Los Angeles.
One of those reasons is the addition of flag football to the list of events.
Flag football is on the rise around the world, and the Olympic committee approved the sport for the next summer Olympics.
When this announcement was initially made, several NFL players were ecstatic, hoping they would be able to represent the United States in this unique format.
However, professional flag football player Darrell Doucette recently commented on NFL players wanting to participate, indicating they should allow current flag players to participate.
He particularly called out Patrick Mahomes in his comments, to which Mahomes responded with a comical gif on Twitter.

This player said, “At the end of the day, I feel like I’m better than Patrick Mahomes because of my IQ of the game.”
Mahomes, of course, didn’t believe him, mainly because he doesn’t even play in the NFL.
This clip has since gone viral, and Mahomes’ response has already been viewed by more than five million people.
Mahomes is one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history, so for anyone to say they are better than him is a very bold claim.
