Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl offensive tackle Lane Johnson is entering his 12th NFL season.

The Super Bowl champion believes he could play for a long, long time with his physical abilities.

“Physically I think I can do what Whitworth and JP did. I think I can play til 40,” Johnson recently told CBS Sports.

Johnson also mentioned that he, realistically, might just play another two or three seasons.

Regardless of how long the former first-round pick decides to play, he is one of the best offensive linemen of this era.

He has started in all 143 career games that he has played in.

The 34-year-old has the opportunity to continue to stack a potential Hall of Fame portfolio if he continues to play the way that he is playing right now.

As the Eagles enter the 2024 season, they are coming off of three consecutive playoff appearances, along with a Super Bowl appearance in 2022.

They have won a total of 36 games over the last three years, including playoffs.

If they can find a way to bury what happened at the end of last season and with the roster that is in place, the Eagles might be a team to watch when it comes to Super Bowl contenders in the NFC.

If Johnson can stay healthy as the years move by, he could go down as possibly the best offensive lineman in the history of the franchise.

Of course, that title is currently held by Jason Kelce, who will eventually be on his way to Canton after a legendary career as the team’s center for so long.
