Dan Orlovsky Makes Strong Prediction About Eagles This Season

The Philadelphia Eagles won ten of their first eleven games last season.

Then, they dropped six of their last seven, including their only playoff appearance.

That was shocking, given how talented they were, and even if they weren’t as dominant during that first stretch of the season, they still managed to win more often than not.

That’s why former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky believes it’s almost a lock that they will be better next season.

Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, he made a case for Nick Sirianni’s team to be much improved.

For starters, he argued that Vic Fangio just doesn’t have bad defenses, while Kellen Moore simply doesn’t have bad offenses, so their improved coaching staff would do wonders for that team.

He also believes that CJ Gardner-Johnson’s return and adding Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell should do wonders for their defense, and if any of their young studs step up, they should fare much better.

Jalen Hurts wasn’t particularly great, but even if he’s not at his best, the Eagles’ offense should fare better.

On top of that, adding Saquon Barkley and now Jahan Dotson to a team that was already stacked only made them scarier.

Granted, Nick Sirianni will be on the hot seat, and that kind of pressure could also lead to mistakes.

But on paper, not many teams have a better roster than the Eagles, so this prediction isn’t far-fetched by any means.
