During his NFL career, which spanned over two decades and included seven Super Bowl titles in stints with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, superstar quarterback Tom Brady was widely considered the best player ever to play his position but not the greatest athlete.
Brady may have the record for the most Super Bowls won by a player and the distinction of being arguably the greatest player in NFL history, but he rarely beat anyone in a foot race and was never lauded for his athletic ability.
Despite the lack of athleticism, Brady was still able to accomplish more than any player ever has, and that might be able to stand the test of time, as he remained competitive until he walked away from the game at 45 while keeping himself in excellent physical condition.
Now that Brady is 47 years old and adjusting to life after football, he remains in great shape and seems to have continued to treat his body right, especially after seeing what he could do only three years shy of 50.
Even though Brady is anything but short at 6’4″, which certainly helped him see over offensive lines and see the field clearly during every down in the NFL, dunking a basketball is not something many would think he could do, but they were wrong via Overtime.

Brady and LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers are two athletes who seemed to have held off Father Time in a unique way, which could indicate where professional sports are going if superstars like this can continue to keep taking care of themselves at advanced ages.
New York Jets superstar Aaron Rodgers might be the next in line as he seems to have no intention of retiring as soon as he starts his 20th season in the NFL at 40.
