Not many people are talking about the Arizona Cardinals heading into the 2024 season.

After back-to-back 4-13 seasons, this team is looking to turn the page in the second year with head coach Jonathan Gannon.

Pro Bowl quarterback Kyler Murray, who is fully healthy, recently sat down with CBS Sports’s Tiki Barber to chat about the current perception of the team and how he is feeling about the outside world.

Yeah, I mean, let them sleep,” Murray said.

The lack of success over the last few seasons has made a lot of fans lose faith in the team.

Also, in a division with the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, and even the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona has an uphill climb for sure.

But that doesn’t mean they don’t have some potential on their relatively young and unproven roster.

Aside from Murray, Pro Bowl running back James Conner is still in the fold.

The team also made the splash draft selection of Marvin Harrison Jr. earlier this offseason.

It could be interesting to watch the connection between Murray and Harrison Jr. grow as the season moves along.

Remember, Murray has already played with a couple of great receivers in both his NFL and college career such as Larry Fitzgerald, DeAndre Hopkins, and CeeDee Lamb.

All in all, Murray’s attitude about the outside world is a good one to have.

If people don’t believe in him or the team, he wants to make believers out of them which Cardinals fans should like.

Arizona doesn’t appear to be a true contender in the NFC as of now, but that is why they play the games.
