Whenever a star wide receiver lists his top five cornerbacks in the NFL, it is intriguing.
Seattle Seahawks Pro Bowl receiver D.K. Metcalf recently gave Hulu his list of big-time cover guys, via Dov Kleiman.
He has Jalen Ramsey of the Miami Dolphins at the top of the list, followed by Marshon Lattimore of the New Orleans Saints, Jaire Alexander of the Green Bay Packers, Patrick Surtain II of the Denver Broncos and Jaycee Horn of the Carolina Panthers as his top five players at the position.

It is hard to argue with the list because the players Metcalf named have the merits and tape to back it up.
Ramsey is a seven-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion. He and Metcalf faced off a lot when Ramsey was with the Los Angeles Rams.
Lattimore, a four-time Pro Bowl defender, has faced Metcalf a few times within the conference and each matchup has been hotly contested.
As one of the better trash-talkers and defenders on the boundary, Alexander has faced Metcalf just twice, with Alexander’s team getting the better of Metcalf’s in both meetings, including once in the playoffs.
Surtain, much like his father before him, is one of the tougher defensive backs in football, and Metcalf has seen that up close both in the NFL and in college with the two both coming out of the SEC.
To finish out his list, Metcalf included top-10 draft pick Jaycee Horn who, despite health concerns, has allowed an average opposing completion percentage of just 54.1 percent in his young career.
But as good as these defenders are, Metcalf has made quite name for himself in the league as well.
He has recorded three 1,000-yard seasons in five years and has never finished a season below 900 receiving yards.
