Over the past few years, defensive end Maxx Crosby has become a budding superstar in the NFL and is now considered the face of the Las Vegas Raiders franchise.

Although the Raiders as a team have yet to catch up to Crosby in terms of playing at an extremely high level from week to week, he’s made a name for himself while being arguably one of the top defensive players and pass rushers today.

Every season, Crosby seems to make more strides and gets closer to winning Defensive Player of the Year, which has led to some wondering who he modeled his game after or was a fan of while growing up with aspirations to play at the NFL level.

During an appearance on “The OGs Show” with former NBA players Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem, Crosby opened up about being a Detroit Lions fan, with a few notable players he loved watching.

“I was a Lions fan growing up being in Michigan,” Crosby said. “So I f—– with Calvin Johnson and Ndamukong Suh. Those are my guys when I was young. Matthew Stafford. I would say those were my favorite guys.”

Outside of Suh, Crosby didn’t name any pass rushers he admired but did go on to say he’s taken little things from current and former NFL players to learn how to be a disruptor on the football field.

With Crosby in the elite class of NFL players, the Raiders superstar will hope to turn things around for Las Vegas as it heads into a season of uncertainty.
