The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a lot at stake next season.
They’ve been the team to beat in the NFC South Division for years now, but with the Atlanta Falcons looking significantly better, they know their margin for error got significantly narrower.
That’s why HC Todd Bowles is concerned about one position in particular.
As reported by Rick Stroud on Twitter, the head coach isn’t satisfied with Jake Camarda’s punting, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see the team trying to address that issue in the coming days.

The Bucs punter had three kicks vs. the Miami Dolphins, one of which failed to travel 40 yards.
Camarda should secure his spot in the initial roster spot, but he might not be able to hold on to it.
The head coach pretty much stated that the team might carry a second punter into the season, so he knows he’s going to be in the eye of the storm to start the season.
He’s one of the best punters in the game, so he might be able to put these woes behind him, but his performances in the preseason have left plenty to be desired.
Special teams play could make or break a team’s season, and this wasn’t supposed to be an issue for this team.
The Bucs have dominated the division and are looking forward to keeping that kind of great momentum going.
So, even the proven veterans will have to be up to the task and get the job done.
