The 2024 NFL season is nearly here and the Houston Texans will be looking to make the next jump in their development as a team.
Houston was one of the surprise teams during the 2023 NFL campaign as they were able to qualify for the postseason despite having a first-time head coach in DeMeco Ryans and a rookie quarterback in C.J. Stroud.
The overall youth on the roster led most to believe it would take at least a couple of years for the Texans to compete, but Ryans and Stroud proved them wrong and now have Houston as a sleeper pick to win the Super Bowl.
When analyzing the Houston roster, it’s hard not to come away impressed as the talent and depth on both sides of the field is impressive.
During preseason, the team has gotten a chance to evaluate some of the fringe roster players who are battling for a spot.
Unfortunately, safety Brandon Hill, one of the players looking to land on the final roster, was carted off the field with an apparent leg injury in the Texans’ preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams via Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2.
“#Texans safety Brandon Hill being carted off with right leg injury,” Wilson reported.

It’s never a good sign when the cart is brought out for a player and in the video it appears that Hill is has a cast over his right leg.
Although more details have yet to be released, it doesn’t look good for Hill though hopefully better news turns up after testing is done.
