The Los Angeles Lakers made history during the 2024 NBA Draft when they selected Bronny James with the No. 55 overall pick, teaming him up with his father LeBron James.

It was widely expected the Lakers would try to draft Bronny and they got their wish when he slipped to them in the draft.

Bronny worked out for several teams during the pre-draft process but it was almost inevitable that he’d end up in Los Angeles with LeBron.

While there has been plenty of scrutiny for the pick, Bronny showed what he could do during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas where he had a strong run of games to prove his standing in the league.

Although Bronny is expected to spend most, if not all, of the 2024-25 NBA season with the South Bay Lakers, he is still an interesting prospect to watch out for.

During the offseason, Bronny has been working on his game and was recently seen going through shooting drills.

In the video, Bronny is seen working with a trainer on various dribble moves that flow into jumpers.

The biggest knock on Bronny’s game is his jump shot, though his form and release suggest that he can improve from distance over time.

Until then, he’ll have to lean on his other traits which include athleticism, defense and secondary playmaking.

Still only 19 years old, there is a lot of upside for Bronny to hit and he could very well turn into an NBA rotation player in the next couple of years.
