The AFC South may be the Houston Texans’ division for the foreseeable future, but teams like the Tennessee Titans will be looking to compete with them during the 2024 NFL season.
The Titans had a rough 2023 NFL season, but completely overhauled the roster and coaching staff in the offseason to keep pace with the rest of the league.
New head coach Brian Callahan was brought over from the Cincinnati Bengals to instill a new offensive philosophy and Tennessee made sure he had weapons to use when they signed Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard in free agency.
On the defensive side, the Titans made a splash when they traded for L’Jarius Sneed who won two Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs.
After trading for Sneed, the team then signed him to a four-year extension worth up to $76 million.
Sneed is one of the best cover cornerbacks in the NFL and he singled out Bengals stat Ja’Marr Chase as the receiver he has the most beef with via Ryan Clark.
When @jay__sneed sees Ja’Marr Chase & Stefon Diggs it’s on site! Competition breeds contempt & for these stars of stars it’s no different. Best part is that none of them run from any sort of smoke.

Sneed explains that even though he and Chase are both from Louisiana, it’s the competition aspect that motivates him to play harder.
He is also asked about Stefon Diggs who he’s had on-field interactions with, though he chalked that up to the rivalry between the Buffalo Bills and Chiefs.
Fortunately for fans, they’ll get a chance to see Sneed and Chase square off as the Titans will play the Bengals on Dec. 15 in what will surely be an electric matchup.
