LeBron James entered the NBA 21 years ago.

He just won the Olympic gold medal and was named MVP of the Olympic basketball tournament.

James’ longevity is pretty much unmatched in NBA history.

And while his God-given traits have obviously had plenty to do with that, those would’ve been meaningless if he didn’t make sure to do everything humanly possible to stay in top shape.

With that in mind, Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem raved about how incredible it was to watch him and his preparation when they played together.

Talking on The Kick Club, Haslem gushed about James and the fact that he was there three hours before practice every single day, riding his bike, getting shots up, and even getting his treatment before the start of actual practice (Via Masked in LA).

James led by example and spared no effort or resources to make sure to be available and healthy ahead of every game.

One may or may not like LeBron James or have an opinion about whether he’s the greatest to ever do it or not.

What no one can debate is that James is the most accomplished basketball player of all time, and while longevity might have a lot to do with that, just being out there and putting up those numbers for two decades is unprecedented.

James’ work ethic should inspire those who want to be as good as him in their careers, and it seems like he could still play for another five years at this level.
