The Philadelphia Eagles were already stacked on offense.
That’s why adding Jahan Dotson may have felt a little like overkill.
The former Washington Commanders star didn’t suit up for his new team’s preseason finale, but he did get a glimpse of what life could look like in the City of Brotherly Love.
He watched his teammates square off vs. the Minnesota Vikings and all the fans in attendance at Lincoln Financial Field.
Needless to say, it was a shocking experience, and he admitted to the media that he actually felt goosebumps walking off the field (Via Eliot Shorr-Parks).

Dotson, a Penn State alum, is quite familiar with the area.
He admitted to being surprised by the trade, mostly because they sent him to a divisional rival.
The Eagles will know how to make the most of the former first-rounder.
Through the first two seasons of his career, he’s played both inside and outside, and he’s got the speed to be an absolute burner down the field.
The Eagles worked him out back in 2022, but he eventually fell to the Commanders’ lap at No. 16.
Now, three years later, they finally got the player they wanted.
Dotson will join the likes of Saquon Barkley, AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert and play alongside one of the best offensive lines in the game.
He already got a tiny taste of Eagles fans and their passion for the team, and that should be more than enough motivation to be at his best from day one.
