The Houston Texans have found the most difficult piece to find, which is a potential generational quarterback.

CJ Stroud isn’t just good; he’s great.

He can be one of the best in his position in the entire league.

However, in another universe, he played on the other side of the field.

Recently, the Ohio State product admitted that if he wasn’t a quarterback, he’d actually like to play Safety (via Houston Texans).

Fortunately, that’s not the case.

The Texans have one of the most stacked rosters in the game, and that’s a luxury you can afford to have when you also have a star quarterback on a rookie contract.

That won’t be sustainable for much longer, as it won’t be long before they have to spend big bucks to keep both him and Will Anderson Jr locked up for the future.

That’s why GM Nick Caserio was uber-aggressive in the offseason to get him as much talent as possible, pairing him with Stefon Diggs, Joe Mixon, and Cam Akers.

The Texans took the world by storm and by surprise last season, but they won’t shock anybody this time around; they have a responsibility to defend their crown in their division.

Everybody has kept notice of them and the league is well aware of their potential to be a dark horse and come out of the AFC.

Notably, a lot of that will have to do with their young quarterback, who, fortunately, decided he’d rather score touchdowns instead of preventing them from being scored.
