With Skip Bayless leaving Undisputed after eight years and becoming a sports media free agent once again, naturally, many fans have been clamoring to see him reunite with his former partner Shannon Sharpe in some capacity.
Shannon and Skip’s other partner, Stephen A. Smith, have both publically shut down any possibility of a Bayless reunion, and Shannon’s brother and fellow NFL legend Sterling recently revealed his thoughts on the situation as well.
Sterling appeared alongside his brother and Chad Ochocinco for an episode of their show, Nightcap, and said that he thought Shannon’s infamous spat with Bayless that ultimately led to the demise of their partnership would be the last time we ever saw Shannon on television, but added: “He yelled and screamed not because of what Skip said, he yelled and screamed because he was so hurt that someone he liked and trusted would say or do that to him.”

Sterling also joked that he never had much interest in appearing on Club Shay Shay or Nightcap and that this would probably be his last appearance.
It’s good to see Shannon able to laugh about the situation now, and he has no reason not to, as things are going quite well for the NFL Hall-of-Famer now that he gets to do his own thing.
It’s anybody’s guess what Bayless will do next, as he has teased a big announcement coming soon but given little to no indication about what his next move is.
It’s great to hear from Sterling for once as well.
