The Cleveland Browns have officially made a roster decision about Nick Chubb.
The star running back wasn’t able to return to the field, and we might have to wait a little longer before we see him play again.
According to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Browns are expected to keep their RB1 on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list to begin the upcoming campaign.

That means that Chubb will be forced to miss at least the first four games of the season.
This is not much of a surprise, as he’s been on the PUP list since training camp began late in July.
Chubb is still recovering from the season-ending gruesome injury he sustained in Week 2 of the prior campaign.
The Georgia product has undergone multiple surgeries to repair the damage.
More importantly, the Browns’ coaching staff has been rather bleak when talking about his recovery, and there’s not a clear timetable for his return, either.
As of now, Jerome Ford is expected to handle the bulk of the load in the running game after he logged 813 rushing yards last season.
Needless to say, this is a big blow to Kevin Stefanski’s offense, as Chubb is most definitely one of the top-tier running backs in the league.
