The Denver Broncos entered the offseason with a major question to answer.
Who was going to replace Russell Wilson as their starting quarterback?
Despite Wilson being a veteran with plenty of experience, his time in Denver yielded suboptimal results.
The team parted ways with him after two years, causing them to look elsewhere to find a new QB.
While they might have wanted to add a veteran in free agency, the Broncos instead turned to the draft, where they selected Bo Nix.
Nix was somewhat of a polarizing prospect at the time, but due to his play in camp and preseason games, the Broncos had no choice but to name him the starter.
He has shown that he has what it takes to lead this team, and will hopefully bring them more success than they’ve found in previous years.
While Nix becoming the starter is exciting for fans, it also means that someone else didn’t get the job.
Jarrett Stidham was recently vulnerable and honest in an interview, shared by Troy Renck on Twitter.
“First of all, I was obviously very disappointed, I know I’m a starting quarterback in this league,” Stidham said.

He made sure to be supportive of his teammate in the process, but it wasn’t hard for fans to see the frustration on his face.
Stidham has played well in relief throughout his career, but to this point, he hasn’t been the No. 1 option for any team.
He has confidence in himself, which could take him a long way if and when another team gives him an opportunity.
