The Miami Dolphins have a lot at stake this season.

It’ll be year three of Mike McDaniel’s regime, and as such, it’s time they get the job done and win a playoff game at the very least.

Hopefully, they’ll have Bradley Chubb back on the field by then.

According to a report by Ari Meirov, the Dolphins will be without Chubb to start the season, as he will be on their Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.

That means that Chubb will miss at least the first four games of the season.

Coach McDaniel confirmed that Chubb, LB Cameron Goode, and OL Isaiah Wynn still weren’t cleared to return, so they will all miss the first month of the season at least.

Chubb suffered a torn ACL late in the season, so this is not much of a surprise.

Goode is dealing with a ruptured patellar tendon, an injury he also sustained late in the season.

As for Wynn, he’s dealing with a quad injury.

On a different note, they have yet to determine WR Odell Beckham Jr’s status.

The talented wideout is dealing with an undisclosed injury and has been on the sidelines for a week now, but Coach McDaniel did claim that he was ‘very optimistic about how things were developing.’

The Dolphins will be without some key players for their matchups with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks, and Tennessee Titans, and it’ll be crucial for them to get the season started on the right foot.
