We’re witnessing the passing of the torch in the NBA for many stars.
Today’s stars have taken pride in their longevity, and it seems like they could still go strong for several years.
However, with the newer and younger players also making a name for themselves, it won’t be long before they’re no longer considered to be top-ten players.
Guys like Kevin Durant have dominated the game for more than a decade.
And with the players being younger by the year, it’s safe to say that plenty of them have been starstruck for having an opportunity to play with or against him.
Notably, that’s the case with Jaren Jackson Jr.
Talking on the Old Man And The Three, the Memphis Grizzlies star admitted that Durant was his favorite player growing up (via ClutchPoints).
“KD’s been doing this for a long time. He was my favorite player growing up… That rim stuff is just boring for him… He’s just trying to have fun.”

He talked about how everybody can tell that Durant is just having fun out there, not to mention how skilled he is.
People may or may not like Durant off the court, but he’s madly in love with the game of basketball, and it’s evident.
He lives and breaths hoops, and he’s got one of the smoothest, most mesmerizing offensive games we’ve ever seen.
Due to injuries, Durant’s ability to dominate hasn’t been the same in recent years as it has been in the past.
But he’s still the same cheat code who can score from all three levels and shoot over every single defender on Earth, and more importantly, he’s actually embracing this new generation of players trying to take his crown.
