If you said Travis Kelce’s name four years ago, most NFL fans would know who he was, but he didn’t necessarily have name recognition outside of the sport.
Kelce is known as one of the best tight ends in league history, but it takes a lot for an athlete to be a part of a culture’s general zeitgeist.
He started gaining more popularity when he and his brother started their podcast, “New Heights.”
New Heights has quickly become one of the most popular podcasts in the United States, and its popularity has only skyrocketed over the past year.
That popularity has gone hand-in-hand with Kelce’s new relationship with Taylor Swift.
Swift’s fans, more affectionately known as “Swifties,” have flocked to Kelce and started being fans of him in every way.
His jersey sales went through the roof, the podcast started getting significantly more fans, and of course, the Kansas City Chiefs got even more popular.
Kelce has been relatively quiet about his relationship in the public eye, only speaking about it when necessary.
However, he did make a purchase recently that has fans talking.
According to Yahoo Sports, Kelce recently was part of a group that bought a racehorse that was fittingly named “Swift Delivery.”

Whether Kelce has a significant interest in horseracing remains to be seen.
Regardless of his intentions with the sport, helping purchase a horse with his girlfriend’s namesake can’t be a coincidence.
The Chiefs enter the 2024 NFL season with plans to win the Super Bowl for the third straight year, which would be an NFL record.
