The Dallas Cowboys found themselves in a tough spot with CeeDee Lamb over the past few months.
Lamb was in search of a contract extension heading into the offseason, but for whatever reason, Jerry Jones and his staff weren’t in a rush to make it happen.
As has occurred with several other big-time stars in recent seasons, Lamb took this situation into his own hands.
If the front office wasn’t going to make this move on their own, he decided to put the pressure on and sit out during training camp.
While a deal was reached earlier this week, Lamb hasn’t gotten a lot of practice time as a result of his sitting out.
With that in mind, some fans and analysts were concerned that Lamb wouldn’t be ready for Week 1 and that he would struggle to adapt to the game speed of the NFL.
In true Lamb fashion, he doesn’t seem worried and continues to be confident in himself.
As he said in a recent press conference shared by Jon Machota, when asked about his ability to play in Week 1, Lamb said, “Yes, bro. No question. I’ll be ready.”
Can CeeDee Lamb be ready to play 60-plus plays Week 1 at Cleveland?

This is great news for the Cowboys.
Not only will Lamb be back in the fold, but he is confident in his ability to play at an elite level.
Dak Prescott is still waiting on a contract extension of his own, but he might take solace in the fact that his top pass-catcher got paid, and there might be something coming for him down the line as well.
