Things didn’t go very well for the Milwaukee Bucks last season.
Even though they ended the regular season as the third seed in the Eastern Conference, they weren’t able to make it out of the first round of the playoffs.
On top of that, the weeks before the postseason were filled with drama and endless speculation about the team, its coaching staff, and its future.
But Paul Pierce believes brighter days are ahead for the Bucks.
Speaking with Kevin Garnett, Pierce said that Milwaukee will get better in 2024-25.
He said head coach Doc Rivers will have more time with the team, they still have the duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, and the East should be prepared.
“What we can’t forget about is Milwaukee gon be better… Doc came in the middle of the year.. he gon get his coaching staff together. They gon be better” – @paulpierce34

Rivers took on a very difficult job when he signed on to be coach last season.
He was tasked with turning things around before the end of the regular season, which is never easy.
The pressure was immense and the injuries didn’t help.
Antetokounmpo and Lillard both got hurt as the playoffs began, which pretty much dashed any hope of going far in the postseason.
But now both players are healthy and Rivers has had months to formulate a plan to move forward.
Fans are trying to forget about last season and pretending like it never happened.
There is definitely a lot of skill on this team and if everyone is healthy and on the same page, they shouldn’t be counted out.
Of course, the competition in the East is also tougher so Milwaukee’s road back to the Finals might not be smooth.
