The Chicago Bears have a rich history, but it’s been a very long while since they were last a Super Bowl contender.
Notably, a lot of that has had to do with their historically subpar passing game.
The Bears have never had an elite quarterback on their roster.
So, now that they have Caleb Williams and have paired him with a young star wide receiver like Rome Odunze, Kay Adams has high hopes for him.
Talking to the Washington product on her Up & Adams Show, Adams argued that she actually thinks Odunze has a legitimate shot to go down as the greatest Bears wide receiver of all-time.

That sounds like a bold statement, considering he hasn’t played a single snap of NFL football in the regular season.
Then again, it’s not that far-fetched to think if you take a look at the numbers.
As of now, Johnny Morris is their all-time leader in receiving yards at 5,059, followed by Harlon Hill and Alshon Jeffery.
This is the most pass-happy era in NFL history, and Odunze has all the physical tools to be a dominant wideout right out of the gate.
And if he develops strong chemistry with Williams, as expected, he could eclipse that mark by his fourth season in the league.
The bar is comically low, but Odunze could shatter all records in the Windy City.
