When fully healthy and firing on all cylinders, the Cincinnati Bengals are a legitimate Super Bowl contender in the AFC and a serious threat to take down the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs if they meet in the NFL playoffs.
Unfortunately for the Bengals, they have found it challenging to stay healthy throughout the regular season leading into the playoffs, which is why the promising young team hasn’t been able to live up to expectations the past couple of years.
The genuine concern for the Bengals moving forward is the long-term health of superstar quarterback Joe Burrow, who seems to go down every year with an injury that prevents him from leading the team under center.
Along with worrying about Burrow, who appears to be 100 percent and ready to go for the start of the 2024 NFL season, the Bengals are dealing with a tense contract situation with superstar wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, which is starting to become a significant distraction in Cincinnati.
With the Bengals and Chase finding it difficult to see eye-to-eye on a lucrative long-term extension, there’s been some concern he might not be on the field come Week 1, and things hit another level with the three-time Pro Bowler using a cryptic side-eyed Burrow picture on his Instagram story, leading to speculation about what it means, via Drew Garrison of the BIGPLAY Cincy Show.

Star players in all professional sports love messing with the media and fans with cryptic messages on social media, which could mean something substantial or nothing at all.
There’s no way of knowing unless the player addresses it at some point, and most of the time, when they do, it gets that much more confusing with no clear answer given.
