With the NFL being a passer’s league now more than ever, having an elite pass-catcher has become crucial for all teams.
We’ve seen guys like Garrett Wilson, who, despite having a terrible quarterback situation, are still able to put up video game-like numbers.
We’ve also seen quarterbacks like Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes make something out of nothing and keep the chains moving despite having subpar wide receiver rooms.
With that in mind, in a recent interview, they asked Mike Evans to share his thoughts on the most underrated wide receivers in the game (via Jay Daniels MVP).

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers legend didn’t hesitate to name Terry McLaurin at the top of the list, and he might be right.
McLaurin doesn’t get enough exposure or recognition because of his team and his quarterback situation, but now that he’s got Jayden Daniels out there, he’s going to turn a lot of heads.
Unsurprisingly, he also chose his sidekick, Chris Godwin.
Evans has been the Bucs’ go-to guy since he entered the league, leaving Godwin in the shadows, but he’s another reliable big-play threat.
Gabe Davis got the nod as well, and he might be onto something.
No one talks about Davis, who Evans thinks is one of the most physical wide receivers out there.
Then, he talked about Mike Williams, wondering if he was underrated.
That’s a good debate, as people usually talk highly of him but also talk about his proneness to get hurt.
