Never has an NFL team won three Super Bowls in a row.
However, despite history not being on their side, the fans believe the Chiefs are about to enter the history books.
As shown by ESPN BET on X, Andy Reid’s team currently has the most bets to win Super Bowl LIX.
The Chiefs lead the pack with 13% of the wagers, followed by the Detroit Lions (9%), Baltimore Ravens (7%), Cincinnati Bengals (7%), and San Francisco 49ers (7%).

Needless to say, the Chiefs don’t necessarily have the biggest fanbase in the nation, so it’s not like it’s just wishful thinking from hopeful supporters.
Truth be told, it’s hard to think of a team that’s above the Chiefs right now.
We might think of teams like the Cincinnati Bengals or perhaps the New York Jets as their biggest threats in the AFC, whereas the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions could challenge them in the big game.
But after watching them do what they’ve done in the past two years and three of the last five, and with Patrick Mahomes getting more weapons and a Super Bowl-caliber defense, betting against them might not be a wise decision.
It seems like bettors have finally learned their lesson: It doesn’t pay off to go against Mahomes.
