Ahead of the first week of the NFL regular season, the Cincinnati Bengals are one of the teams that have made a few extra roster moves.
The team recently announced six transactions.
Among them was the re-signing of free agent running back Trayveon Williams, the placing of defensive tackle McKinnley Jackson (knee) on the Reserve/Injured list, and the signings of four other practice squad players.

Starting with the running back in Williams, the former All-American is back with the team that drafted him in the sixth round out of Texas A&M in 2019.
More of a role player throughout his career so far, Williams has just 307 rushing yards and 74 receiving yards in total.
However, he has carved out a nice role for himself on special teams as a kick returner.
In eight games as the team’s kick returner in 2022, he recorded 356 yards on 16 returns and followed that up with 12 returns for 290 yards in 17 games last season.
The depth on defense might take a hit with the loss of McKinley Jackson, who was a third-round pick also out of Texas A&M this past offseason.
Standing at 6-2 and weighing close to 330 pounds, Jackson could have been a force on the interior in the early part of the season for Zac Tayor and Co.
Now, he will have to wait for his knee to get better before he can make an impact with his team.
Guard Tashawn Manning, running back Kendall Milton, defensive tackle Justin Rogers, and defensive end Isaiah Thomas were all signed to the practice squad as well.
