Former NFL great Tom Brady is still staying in shape, even after his playing days are over.
Recently, the seven-time Super Bowl champion made waves on the internet after he was filmed hitting the bench press for the first time in 18 years.
“Probably ’05, ’06, ’07 with Matt Cassel…I just like grinding it out to see who could lift more,” Brady said in the video of the last time he max bench pressed.
It is not a surprise to see the 47-year-old still in the lab getting work done.
The three-time NFL MVP played a whopping 23 seasons in the league with 20 of them coming in New England with the Patriots and head coach Bill Belichick.
He holds many NFL regular and postseason records that likely won’t be broken for a long time.
Perhaps the former Michigan man is staying in shape just in case he decides to come out of retirement to try and capture yet another Super Bowl.
If nothing else, he is simply showing his desire to be great each and every day.
Brady is set to enter his first season in the broadcasting booth as part of the main crew on NFL Fox.
He will be calling the Week 1 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns.
