The old saying states that the rich always get richer, and that’s usually true in the NBA.
The Boston Celtics didn’t need much help.
They’re the defending NBA champions, and they locked up their championship core for years to come.
However, since the rest of the league didn’t show an interest in him, they left the door wide open for Lonnie Walker IV to join Brad Stevens’ team.
Walker is a prime reinforcement and depth piece for this team.
Notably, it didn’t take long before an old social media post about how disrespected he felt by the league went viral after he signed with the Celtics.
I ain’t even reach my prime yet yall gonna see soon. The apology better be just as loud as the disrespect

While not a superstar by any means, the 25-year-old guard is a very talented player who could be a big contributor to any winning team.
He averaged just shy of 10 points per game with the San Antonio Spurs, being a little disappointing after entering the league as the No. 18 pick.
Even so, he’s proven to be a serviceable role player, averaging 11.7 points for the Los Angeles Lakers and even having some big performances for them in the playoffs.
Walker is coming off a season with the Brooklyn Nets in which he shot almost 40% from beyond the arc, and he’s a career 35.6% shooter from three-point territory.
He’s athletic, unselfish, and is going to have plenty of wide-open shots in Joe Mazzulla’s three-point-heavy offense.
Brad Stevens keeps working his magic, but shame on the rest of the league for always allowing him to get away with these moves.
