The college football season has officially begun.
While only a few games have taken place thus far, fans are already excited for the season.
A new college football season means new opportunities for players to showcase their skills, hoping to get drafted into the NFL in April.
He has only played one game this year, but Dan Orlovsky already has provided a strong take on Shedeur Sanders.
As he mentioned on X, Orlovsky believes Sanders will be a top-five NFL Draft pick next year.
I think Shedeur Sanders is a top 5 pick next year

Sanders put on a quarterback masterclass in Colorado’s first game, a win over North Dakota State.
He finished the game with 445 passing yards, four touchdowns, and one interception.
Sanders’ 2023 campaign wasn’t necessarily as dominant as this performance suggested, but he started this year on the right foot.
His father is entering his second year as head coach of Colorado’s football team, and this duo could make some noise down the stretch, especially if Sanders continues to play like this.
Sanders does fit the current mold of NFL quarterbacks: a great athlete with a strong arm that can also take off on the run.
Considering that next year’s class isn’t supposed to be strong for quarterbacks, Sanders has a legitimate chance of becoming a top-five pick.
Of course, he’ll need to keep playing well and mitigating mistakes when he can help it.
If he continues to showcase sound decision-making and sheer athleticism, there could be another member of the Sanders family taken in the first round.
