The Baltimore Ravens are considered a Super Bowl contender heading into the 2024 NFL season as they’ve got a strong roster on both sides of the field.
The defense remains as stout as ever, though the offense could be in line for a big year as they added Derrick Henry, giving them one of the most fearsome running duos with him and Lamar Jackson.
Jackson and Henry are two of the best pure runners in the league, and their ability to make plays on the ground will set up the passing game nicely.
Zay Flowers should demand more targets in his second year with Baltimore, but Jackson’s most reliable target has been Mark Andrews.
Andrews recently was involved in a car accident that forced him to miss time with the team, but by all accounts will be available for Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The star tight end recently discussed the incident and had an honest admission about the situation via AJ Gersh of Fox.
“It put things in perspective,” Andrews said.

Andrews details how scary the accident was and how he was fortunate to come away unharmed.
He also talks about how it’s a good reminder to reach out to loved ones while a person still can.
With Baltimore losing personnel and former members this offseason, it really does put into perspective how fragile life can be and how anything can happen at any given moment.
Thankfully, Andrews seems to be OK and should play a large role in whatever the Ravens are able to accomplish this year.
