Fresh off a gold medal during the 2024 Olympics in Paris, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry will now look to lead his team back to the postseason once the 2024-25 NBA season begins.
Curry recently signed a one-year, $62.6 million extension that ensures his future in the Bay Area, but the biggest question the franchise has to answer is whether or not they’re committed to winning at least one more title with the superstar on the roster.
Curry hasn’t given any indication that he intends to demand a trade, though things change rapidly in the NBA.
The sharpshooter has said he is determined to win another title, though it’s anyone’s guess if he can actually accomplish that with Golden State.
His future with the Warriors also seemed in doubt for a moment when he removed the team from his Instagram biography.
However, he recently cleared up the situation via Emily Chang’s Instagram account.
“Emily Chang: “I’m not asking him why he took the Warriors off his Instagram.” Ayesha Curry: “Wait, what?” Steph: “I was just proud to be an Olympian.” Emily: “You’re here forever.” Steph: “That’s the plan.”

Curry explained that he wanted to show solidarity during his time with USA Basketball, and seems to assure fans and the organization that he intends to stay and retire with Golden State.
At this point, it would be truly shocking if Curry asked out from the only team he’s ever played for and it’ll be interesting to see how things play out in his final years with Golden State.
