The Boston Celtics will enter the 2024-25 NBA season as the reigning NBA champions after their impressive run during the 2024 NBA Playoffs.
The Celtics have prided themselves on their championship-laden history and will be looking to repeat.
However, the Eastern Conference is much stronger on paper this time around as teams like the Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks stand in their way.
Boston has been fortunate to see some of the best players don its jersey, including Isaiah Thomas who gave them one of the most exciting stretches of basketball in recent memory.
Despite his small stature, Thomas was able to score from anywhere on the floor and even led the team to the postseason.
Thomas later discussed his time with the Celtics and admitted how much he enjoyed his time with the franchise via The Knuckleheads Podcast.
“Playing for the Celtics is amazing, I got genuine love for the city of Boston,” Thomas said.
Isaiah Thomas says that playing for the Celtics is surreal:

It’s a bit surprising to hear Thomas speak so highly of the Boston organization after the team decided to trade him away after he played hurt.
However, Thomas goes in-depth on how much love he gets from the fanbase and even seems touched by how much he received as soon as he got there.
The hip injury that Thomas dealt with ended up railroading his career and he didn’t mince words previously about the situation.
However, it seems that the point guard has come to terms with how things went down and even seems to earnestly look back fondly on his tenure with Boston.
