In today’s social media landscape, professional athletes are known for more than what they do on the field.
Whether it’s podcasting, commercials, or having a side gig with a business venture of some kind, athletes never seem to stop moving.
Social media has brought fans and athletes closer than ever before, making the two sides feel connected, even though they’ve never met.
While podcasts are a relatively new form of media, commercials have been around for a long time.
Commercials were the traditional way for brands to further advertise their products, and athletes still appear in them to this day.
This was demonstrated in full effect in a recent Lowe’s commercial, as Travis Kelce, Christian McCaffrey, C.J. Stroud, and Dak Prescott were all representing the brand.
This commercial wasn’t particularly humorous or inspiring, but it is an example of how athletes tend to show up everywhere.
Commercials like this can help athletes get through the offseason, finding meaning in some other form of work before getting their heads in the game for the upcoming season.
With that in mind, all four of these NFL stars have less than a week to prepare for the start of the 2024 season.
Kelce is the first up of the bunch, as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens in the opening game of the year.
The rest of these players have a few more days to gameplan and make any final adjustments, but their time is coming soon.
