College football is officially underway and had its first full Saturday slate featuring a mix of ranked matchups, upsets, and highlight plays that got fans excited.

One play stood out above all else and got the internet buzzing, including former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III who was just as blown away as everybody else.

Robert Morris cornerback Rob Carter Jr. made the play of the weekend that will be tough to top this season when he pulled down one of the most ridiculous interceptions of all time in the form of a leaping one-handed grab deep down the right side of the field, to which RGIII reacted by saying, “WHAT THE F*** DID I JUST WATCH.”

Robert Morris lost the game 36-14, but this play overshadowed anything that happened in the game.

Spencer Petras made his debut at quarterback for Utah State after leaving Iowa after five years, and this was one of two interceptions he threw on the night.

Carter is a junior and posted 15 tackles and one interception in his first season of college ball last year and put himself on the map with this pick.

Robert Morris went just 4-7 last year after going 0-11 in 2022, so the program is hoping to turn things around this year and a matchup against Utah State was a good first test for the Colonials.

They will have some easier opponents coming up when they take on Edinboro and Mercyhurst over the next two weeks.

It may only be Week 1, but good luck to the rest of the nation trying to top this play for catch of the year.
