Analyst Predicts NFL’s Stat Leaders For 2024 Season

We’re just days away from the start of the NFL season.

That means it’s officially time to submit our hot takes and predictions.

Considering that, Cynthia Frelund of NFL Network shared her thoughts on who she thinks will lead the league in the most crucial stats in 2024.

When it comes to passing yards, she believes Houston Texans star CJ Stroud will be ahead of the pack.

She thinks he’s going to have even better numbers in his second season, with 4,605 yards to the 4,108 he had as a rookie.

With an improved wide receivers cast, she also expects Patrick Mahomes to lead the league in passing touchdowns.

She thinks he’ll have 34, seven more than in 2023.

Christian McCaffrey led the league in rushing yards in 2023 with 1,459, and she thinks he’ll repeat this time, although with ‘just’ 1,398.

Frelund has high expectations for Dallas Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb, as she thinks he’ll lead the league in both receptions (115) and receiving touchdowns (11).

That would be in line with what he did last season when he led the league with 135 grabs and also logged 12 touchdowns.

In less optimistic predictions, she doesn’t think Tyreek Hill will top his mark and break the 2,000 receiving-yard plateau.

She does think he’ll lead the league in receiving yards but predicts he’ll have ‘only’ 1,501, which is almost 300 fewer yards than last season.

When it comes to defense, she expects Trevon Diggs to pick up where he left off after his injury and lead the league in interceptions (5), all while Myles Garrett logs the most sacks (12), logging two less than in 2023.
