Team USA sent a plethora of the best American talent from the NBA to the Olympics to make sure to bring home the gold medal.

And while there were some close calls in the semi-final and final games, Stephen Curry rose to the occasion to make sure the gold went back home with them.

Now, with the next games in sight, NBA legend Tracy McGrady believes Team USA might be in trouble.

He acknowledges that Anthony Edwards will continue to be a star, and he thinks Jayson Tatum will also be good.

However, he just doesn’t see anybody being on LeBron James, Kevin Durant, or Stephen Curry’s level four years from now.

He argues that Paolo Banchero and Duke prospect Cooper Flagg could be almost a lock to make the team as up-and-coming stars, but he’s worried about the lack of veterans.

Moreover, with the way other teams are producing elite talent, he thinks the door will be wide open for other teams to take over.

Truth be told, he might be onto something here.

This was the last dance for some of the greatest players ever, and there will obviously be a transition period.

Then again, the league is in great hands, and Team USA should be as well.

Their experience — or lack thereof — at that level will be crucial, but from a talent standpoint, the Americans should be all set.

Ja Morant, Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Haliburton, Tyrese Maxey, Jaren Jackson Jr., Cade Cunningham, Zion Williamson, Chet Holmgren, Dereck Lively II, Devin Booker, and Jaylen Brown, among many more, should still be going strong by then.
