LeBron James has done many things during his long, historic NBA career but he hasn’t played with his son, Bronny.
At least not yet.
That will change in the next few months, because Bronny was recently signed by the Los Angeles Lakers and will be a rookie during the 2024-25 season.
Speaking with The Shop, James opened up about just what it’ll be like to play alongside his son.
He mentioned how proud he is and how this will be a moment unlike any other, one that leaves him in awe.
James isn’t blown away often but the prospect of playing with Bronny is definitely leaving his jaw on the floor.
He said he hasn’t experienced many moments that have left him dumbfounded even as he has set numerous NBA records and created such an iconic career.
But this is going to be something that really blows him away and moves him emotionally.
Of course, just because James and his son will be on the same team doesn’t mean they will get a lot of time on the court together.
Bronny has a lot to prove before he can get a ton of minutes during his rookie season.
He showed some flares of greatness during the Summer League but he is clearly not ready to play a lot during the regular season.
So, James might have to wait a while before he is performing often with his son.
No matter what happens, James has every reason to be proud of Bronny and this moment.
It is truly unlike anything that has happened in the NBA before and yet another amazing accomplishment.
