Paul George of the Philadelphia 76ers has been called many things throughout his NBA career, including “PG-13” and more.

But on his “Podcast P” show, George revealed the nickname that his family has used since he was a young boy.

George’s father said that Paul is referred to as “Man” but the people who know him best.

He then revealed that George got that moniker because he was always a great deal taller than the rest of the kids in his class.

Instead of looking like a kid, he resembled a man, hence the nickname.

People in George’s family still call him that to this day and none of them use some of the fun nicknames he has received as a professional player.

Aside from “PG-13”, George is also called “Young Trece”, “Batman”, and “Playoff P”.

That last nickname isn’t a flattering one because it refers to the struggles that he has had in the postseason.

Those struggles may be behind George now that he’s with the Sixers.

The team is in a better position than the Los Angeles Clippers were and they could go far in the playoffs next season.

As for George, he is viewed as the missing piece the 76ers have needed for so long.

He will help with both offense and defense and will also space the floor a lot.

It is understandable why so many fans think that George could take the team to the next level.

He has found a lot of success with numerous teams but George has a chance to be the “man” for Philadelphia.
