The Kansas City Chiefs have a new-look offense.

They’re fresh off winning two Super Bowls, but contrary to what happened in the earlier days of the Andy Reid-Patrick Mahomes era, they didn’t overwhelm other teams with their firepower last season.

Instead, they relied on Steve Spagnuolo and his elite defense to get the job done.

That won’t be the case anymore in 2024, and they want to make it loud and clear right from the jump.

According to NFL insider Dianna Russini, she kept hearing the same thing about the Chiefs receivers all summer long.

She heard they looked ‘fast.’

The Chiefs have a goal for Week 1, says @ByNateTaylor.

To leave a message.

Not just to Baltimore, but to the entire NFL: Kansas City’s offense is 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠.

Reid and the Chiefs want to put the league on notice, so they’re looking for a highlight from Xavier Worthy and their new-look receiving corps to show everybody what they have to be worried about from now on.

They want to make a splash and be flashy, not just to win.

The Chiefs have added speedsters to their team, and one can only imagine what Patrick Mahomes can do with an improved set of weapons.

He’s already won two Super Bowls without Tyreek Hill, and he’s mature enough now to know when to rely on the defense instead of trying to do everything on his own.

The team addressed their few needs and issues in the offseason.

And while winning three consecutive Super Bowls is something no one has ever done, it’s hard to put your money against a team that solved the only thing that could’ve made them look mortal.
