The Kansas City Chiefs have an opportunity to do something that has never been done before in the Super Bowl era.
Needless to say, winning three Super Bowls in a row would be the ultimate farewell for any player looking to ride into the sunset.
That’s why, with his older brother Jason retiring, his off-field endeavors, his age, and his relationship with Taylor Swift, some think this might be Travis Kelce’s last dance.
With that in mind, Rich Eisen asked the All-Pro tight end about his plans for the future and whether he’s thinking about walking away from the game.
“It didn’t cross my mind one bit. I think the excitement of the challenge of this year, and maybe being able to do it a third time in a row, I think that alone was all I needed to come back,” Kelce said.

Notably, Kelce claimed that it didn’t even cross his mind.
He stated that he’s still having too much fun out there, and more than that, he still has the energy and feels like he can continue to master his craft and be a big contributor to the team.
Kelce has made plenty of money already, but he thinks that the possibility of winning three in a row is motivation enough for him to not even think about retiring this offseason.
With his ever-growing presence on social media and his relationship with the most famous pop superstar on Earth, Kelce could simply call it quits and enjoy a pain-free life.
But why would he want to walk away from the game if he still feels like he has something left in the tank?
Once that competitive fire is gone, he’ll know it’s time to call it a career.
