You might be hard-pressed to find someone who believes that Steph Curry isn’t a top-10 player in NBA history.
Not only did he help revolutionize the game with his legendary three-point shot, but he also brought fame and prestige to the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors were a historic organization before Curry stepped in, but he helped bring them to the next level.
Curry is still at the top of his game, as displayed in this year’s Olympics.
It is unclear when he’ll retire considering how well he plays at his age.
However, his time in the league will come to an end eventually, and much like other former players, he’ll have to find a purpose off the court.
Thankfully for him, it appears Curry has a good idea of where he would like to start: owning a team.
“I think I could do a pretty good job of helping sustain how great the NBA is right now and what it takes to run a championship organization,” Curry said via CNBC.
Curry’s on-court impact has been felt, and he believes he can do a fair amount for the game off the court as well.
Whether the opportunity to own a team will present itself remains to be seen, but Curry has made his intentions clear.
He might not have the capital to buy a team outright, but he could certainly be a majority shareholder in a club in the future, bringing his championship mindset to that organization.
