With this deal, the Alabama product is now the highest-paid defensive back in the league.
Surtain entered the league as a highly-touted top-10 pick, and it didn’t take long before he became arguably the best cornerback in the entire game.
He’s been an All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection in back-to-back seasons, and his combination of finesse and physicality is just mesmerizing to watch.
The 24-year-old had always been vocal about his optimism and faith in getting a deal done.
He had nothing but praise for the Broncos organization and stated that he knew they would do right by him.
Now, he’ll be tied to the organization for the foreseeable future.
