The NFL is about to play its first game in Brazil to kick off the 2024 regular season.

Later this week, the Philadelphia Eagles will face the Green Bay Packers down in Sao Paulo in what looks to be a very good matchup.

However, the Eagles have some significant names on the injury report ahead of the game.

Pro Bowl linebacker Devin White, who was signed over from Tampa Bay earlier this offseason, will miss Friday’s game due to an ankle injury.

Veteran cornerback Isaiah Rodgers (hand) participated in practice in a limited capacity this week.

However, Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown (rest) and Pro Bowl center Landon Dickerson (rest) are ready to go after also appearing on the injury report.

In order for the Eagles to beat an up-and-coming Packers team down in South America this weekend, they have to be healthy.

Losing a talented linebacker like White could certainly hurt this Philadelphia defense, especially seeing as they are going up against an explosive offense led by quarterback Jordan Love and All-Pro running back Josh Jacobs.

But again, the good news is that they are likely to have both Dickerson and Brown, who are two of their biggest leaders and contributors.

Looking at both of these teams on paper, this has the makings of a possible NFC Championship preview.

Both have quality franchise quarterbacks and both acquired superstar running backs earlier this offseason.

Additionally, both brought in new defensive coordinators (Vic Fangio for Philadelphia, Jeff Hafley for Green Bay).

Finally, each team has had multiple 10-win seasons over the last half-decade.

This game has the potential to be spectacular for the NFL and it’s fans down in Brazil.
