Few reality competition shows are as popular as “Dancing with the Stars”.
Even after more than 30 seasons, millions of people tune in weekly to see celebrities move across the dance floor.
This season, they will be treated to the skills of eight-time All-Star and three-time Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard.
According to a video shared by ClutchPoints, Howard appeared on “Good Morning America” to confirm that he will be a contestant for the show’s upcoming 33rd season.
He promised that he would have fun and bring his one-of-a-kind personality and style to the show.
“I’ve been dancing my whole life, but not ballroom dancing.”

Howard certainly looked enthusiastic to be on the show and appeared ready to get started as soon as possible.
Does that mean he will be one of the favorites to win it all?
The competition will be tough, with Howard facing off against actors Eric Roberts and Tori Spelling, Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik, “Family Matters” star Reginald VelJohnson, and more.
Howard might be one of the most athletic stars in the cast, but that doesn’t guarantee he will do well.
This is just the latest move in his busy post-NBA career.
Not only has Howard spent time playing basketball overseas, but he has also appeared on numerous shows and podcasts, sharing his opinions about the NBA and basketball in general.
He hasn’t slowed down much since his last season in 2021-22.
Howard has said that he’d like to come back to the NBA, but time is running out since he’s 38 years old.
Perhaps his run on “Dancing with the Stars” will create new attention and earn him another contract in the league.
