The Kansas City Chiefs kick off the season on Thursday with a marquee matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.

A lot of people will be in town to watch the back-to-back Super Bowl champions taking on the reigning MVP.

Notably, that includes former star WR Brandon Marshall.

Marshall will be in Missouri covering the game, and given that he had a couple of days off, he wanted to know where he could grab a good bite to eat while in town.

With that in mind, he reached out to HC Andy Reid, who’s known for his love for food and knows the area well.

He asked Coach Reid his favorite place to eat during a press conference, and the coach hilariously claimed that he couldn’t reveal it because other places would then kick him out (Via Sports Radio 810 WHB).

Marshall jokingly said he didn’t know he was a politician, to which he replied, “When it comes to food, I am.”

That’s brilliant.

Coach Reid has never shied away from food-related jokes and has always embraced them with a sense of humor.

Then again, there will be nothing to laugh about as soon as the season kicks off.

The Chiefs will be men on a mission pursuing the first-ever Super Bowl three-peat, and getting the season started with a win over another AFC powerhouse is the only thing on their minds right now.

There will be plenty of time to grab a bite to eat and celebrate after that.
