The NBA is the greatest basketball tournament on Earth.
As such, the league has had the single-greatest basketball players in history.
That’s why choosing the greatest scorer of all time is such a difficult task.
There is no certain criteria to determine it.
Recently, the fans flooded a post shared by Hoop Muse on X, as it read that Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and Kevin Durant were the three greatest scorers ever.

Can’t hate on it, Steph has a great case

Lebron scores more point on better efficiency (in more games) than Kobe does in the RS, playoffs, and Finals, and MJ (Lebron passed him in scoring on less shots) took more shots with a generational whistle and shorter career. Lebron/Durant, then MJ. Kobe doesn’t merit this.

The 3 greatest scorers of all time r MJ,KD and Steph. And when KD passes MJ and Kobe in all time points in 2 yrs I can’t wait to hear the discourse

I’d say Kobe Is a better scorer than MJ. Hear me out. Both of there games was extremely similar and both scored the ball very well and won that way. The main difference of why I’d replace MJ with Lebron Is because MJ didn’t have a 3 ball. That fact limits him IMO

Truth be told, you could look at it in a thousand different ways, and this list will only continue to grow as the years go by.
Wilt Chamberlain and Shaquille O’Neal were the most dominant scorers.
Michael Jordan was the most spectacular and most clutch.
Kobe Bryant had the killer instinct and could get buckets from all over the court.
Kevin Durant has the most mesmerizing jump shot and perhaps the deepest bag.
Stephen Curry has an unlimited range.
LeBron James has the most points scored.
Larry Bird was the first elite three-level shooter.
Dirk Nowitzki and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar developed unblockable shots.
Tracy McGrady was the most creative.
The game of basketball is much more complex than what we look at on the scoreboard.
At the end of the day, there will be as many rankings and opinions as there are fans.
And while that makes this debate interesting, it also speaks volumes about the beauty of the game.
