The Denver Broncos have revealed their team captains for the 2024 season.
In a history-making move, rookie quarterback Bo Nix has been named one of those team captains, per insider Adam Schefter.
As noted by ESPN, Nix is the first rookie player to be named a team captain in Denver with the Broncos since 1967.
The future has arrived in the Mile High City in the form of the first-round quarterback.

This move by head coach Sean Payton and Co. just goes to show you how highly the team feels about their young starting quarterback.
Despite being a rookie, Nix is one of the most experienced rookies in NFL history.
The 24-year-old started an NCAA record 61 career games across his time at Auburn and Oregon.
A former Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year, he has plenty of experience playing in big games and will be tasked with guiding this team into the future, which is now.
Sean Payton has a history of making magic happen with longtime college quarterbacks who also happen to be a little shorter.
In New Orleans, Payton and Drew Brees became champions together as they ran one of the best offenses in football for years.
Payton will now be looking to do the same with Nix, who is looking to take the Broncos to the playoffs for the first time since Peyton Manning took the franchise to their last Super Bowl win.
Time will tell to see if Nix is the right man for the job or not.
