The Detroit Lions have one goal and one goal only, and that’s to win the Super Bowl.

However, even though Dan Campbell is the ultimate football guy and is absolutely obsessed with the game, he still has some time to pursue other interests.

His acting debut made the rounds online and was a massive success.

But now that his Applebees ad is ancient history, it seems like the former NFL player is looking forward to adding more to his portfolio.

When asked if he would be starring in any more commercials in the foreseeable future, Campbell jokingly admitted that “unfortunately, there was more to come” (Via Eric Woodyard).

#Lions HC on Dan Campbell says his wife and daughter talked him into starring in his Applebee’s commercial. “This was something I’ve been reluctant,” but “I had fun with it.”

“Unfortunately there’s more to come,” he said.

Campbell also admitted that he was reluctant to shoot the commercial before his wife and daughter talked him into it, but it now seems like he’s grown fond of it.

The Lions were one of the most pleasant surprises in the league last season.

They lived up to the hype and expectations by reaching the NFC Championship Game, and they even had the San Francisco 49ers against the ropes at one point.

They will now be tasked with a harder challenge, which is to stay at the top of the division and prove that last season’s success wasn’t a fluke.

They have the personnel to do so and be even better this season.

Fortunately, if everything fails and he finds himself unemployed at some point in the future, coach Campbell now knows that he could also pursue a career in acting.
