Ahead of the 2022 NFL season, the New York Giants made a move to bring in Brian Daboll to be the new leader on the sideline for the storied franchise, which was a move that paid off immediately as he immediately changed the culture in New York.
Ultimately, Daboll was able to turn things around for the team and get the Giants back on the right track as a force to be reckoned with in the NFC and a serious threat to their division rivals in the NFC East, which is no easy task.
Unfortunately, the team’s success in 2022, which resulted in a playoff appearance and a playoff win, didn’t carry over to the 2023 NFL season, as New York struggled from start to finish.
Along with coming off one of the most disappointing seasons in recent memory for the Giants, New York lost superstar running back Saquon Barkley in NFL free agency to the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles, and many questions surround whether quarterback Daniel Jones is the right man for the job under center.
Despite all the negativity swirling in New York ahead of the 2024 NFL season, All-Pro offensive tackle Andrew Thomas claims the team is putting last year behind them with hopes of bouncing back this season via Giants Videos.
“There was a lot of things we dealt with last year, but we’re putting that to bed,” Thomas said.

Although not many are expecting much from the Giants in 2024 after what happened last year and throughout the offseason, the team does have a potential superstar in the making with rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers, who might be able to help bring some positivity to this team moving forward.
Only time will tell if the Giants can turn things around this season and if the future is bright in New York with Nabers helping lead the way.
